Friesen Tokar Architects, along with Kowalchuk Consulting Engineers Ltd., were retained to design this 12,600 sq. ft. facility. The design incorporated large assembly areas that featured glulam and structural steel framing. A large curved "swooping" entrance welcomes patrons into the facility.
Tractus Group was contracted to detail the light gauge steel stud framing, structural steel and miscellaneous metals. Close coordination with the Glulam Girder Supplier was required to ensure proper modeling of the beam seats, hangers and connectors. Feedback from the site was very positive in regards to connectivity and ease of install. |
