Currently under construction at the City of Winnipeg's Deacon Reservoir site, the Water Treatment Plant & Surge Tower is a state-of-the-art, modern facility designed for performance, safety, and environmental sustainability. The reservoir is located outside the city's perimeter highway on Hwy# 207 north of Hwy# 1, and has a building footprint of 12,400 M2.  The building has 3 main levels; the

 





         
 

Foundation Level is at elevation 231.000, Main Floor Level is at 239.000 and the Mechanical Room Level is at 245.000. The Roof elevation is at 250.000 and is comprised of pre-cast concrete double tee units. The building envelope consists of various construction types inclusive to curtain wall, aluminum panels, metal cladding, light gauge stud framing, and masonry block.

Tractus Group was responsible for the completion of the building sections, wall sections and plan details for this project. Working integrally with the Neil Cooper Architect Inc. team, Tractus Group completed this project using predefined AutoCAD standards. Tractus Group's vast experience with AutoCAD enabled us to adapt to the predefined standards ensuring text, layering, blocks, dimensioning and page borders were consistent within the architectural drawing set.
